January 8, 2019

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., January 8, 2019 – [nbsp]With today’s tight job market, attracting and retaining talent is a constant battle, but it’s a war that can be won. Mark Emrick, a senior partner with the Employers Association of the NorthEast, will offer strategies that companies of any size can use to attract and retain top talent at the Springfield Regional Chamber’s Rise & Shine Business Breakfast on February 6, 2019 at 7:15 a.m.  The breakfast will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, and is sponsored by Rise & Shine Business Breakfast Series Sponsor United Personnel and Employers Association of the NorthEast.

Emrick will explain how a detailed recruiting plan that includes digital marketing is essential to keeping the pipeline full of candidates. Regardless of the size of the business or industry, company culture has a huge impact on retention, production and the ability to keep talent from going to the competition. Attendees will leave with key strategies for winning the battle for the best talent today as well as for the future.

In his role as senior partner at Employers Association of the Northeast, Emrick assists member organizations in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island with human resources advice and counsel in the areas of state and federal legal compliance, employee engagement, overall best practices and recruitment and retention strategies. He is an experienced investigator for employee complaints and issues and facilitates EANE training programs on the topics of harassment prevention, reasonable suspicion testing and workforce development.
